Carrier Coverage
Legal coverage for member carrier violations. Professional drivers may be more likely to receive a citation than the average motorist, but sometimes the citation issued doesn’t target the driver at all. When a participating carrier is cited for a violation, Open Road Drivers Plan® will provide legal representation.The Open Road Drivers Plan® will help you select an attorney in the jurisdiction where the citation was received to represent the carrier’s interests in resolving the alleged violation. Access to this service is included with carrier plan membership.
Reporting
Receive detailed driver infraction reports.
When your drivers get violations and they use Open Road Drivers Plan®, you will receive a detailed report identifying the driver, violation (moving or non-moving), date and location of the incident. Better tracking of driver infractions gives you more insight into driver safety. Regular reporting keeps you ahead of the safety curve.
Positive outcomes in court may also be utilized to submit requests for data review (RDRs) through the DataQs system. A carrier’s BASIC scores are influenced by a driver’s violation history. Being informed of driver citations and outcomes is in the carrier’s best interest.

Keeping up on a weekly bill can be a hassle, especially when you’re on the road for days at a time. Open Road Drivers Plan® partners with carriers to provide a payroll / settlement deduction services for drivers.
While there is administrative time and expense associated with creating new deductions in the payroll process, Open Road Drivers Plan® offers participating carriers a rebate per month per driver utilizing payroll / settlement deduction.
